Welcome to Living Well... Today.
Hi, and welcome to Living Well Today. I'm Angela Moonan. I have shared a lot of my music over the years and the things that make me sing, things that make me whistle. My daughter's always irritated with how much I'm whistling I do! lol I'm not conscious of it most of the time. She helps me become conscious of it. We're in the holiday season and there's just all this beautiful holiday music. I just went to see Andrea Bocelli actually in Savannah, Georgia, which was magical. What a gift to us all is he. And I I can imagine for those who do not sing, I've heard this often throughout my life, "oh, if I could only sing, if I could only sing well." There is something that you do, are, am that God is using you as a tuning fork. We Are All Resonating, All of the Time That's how I think of myself. So me literally, I think of a tuning fork because of my music. Because of my voice. But you know how when you clink a tuning fork, it vibrates, it resonates. We are all resonating, all of the time. And it's moving into a conscious realization of that that helps you find ease and joy and live more intentionally for living well today. Um, So I am encouraging you to find that thing. Find your voice. Find that gift, that expression of creativity. It could be in the way you decorate your home and you show beauty that way. It could be through music, whether through vocally or through an instrument. It could be through art, painting, photography, gardening, woodworking. It could be through motivational speaking. If you lead a team, your ability to inspire people. I offer you this: The next room you walk into... before you walk in, envision yourself as a tuning fork. That tuning fork from fifth grade band! And you're going to resonate at that which you want to feel and experience. What does JOY feel like? What does JOY sound like? So if I want to feel joy, I have have to be joy. Well, what does joy feel like? What does it sound like? Laughter, smiles, your face lit up and lifted up. Your posture, your body, lifted up. The words that you're choosing. We've talked about the power of words. If you want to feel love, be love. What if you could articulate what love resonates at, what it vibrates at? Do you think it's at a low vibration or do you think it's at a high vibration? It's the highest vibration there is. So think about that. I am attuning fork. I'm a tuning fork for God, collective consciousness, the universe, however you wish to express it. Express it for yourself. And you don't have to be a singer. If you are, then you have a direct connection to that. And it's super, super easy. You don't have to use metaphor at all If you're a musician, even moreso if you're a singer. Wherever You Walk, Wherever You Go, Wherever You Are It means that wherever you walk, wherever you go, wherever you are, you are resonating and expressing through you. God is expressing through you. And so God wants you, as your body wants you, and your heart wants you, to resonate higher and higher and higher. My promise to you is that if you practice this, "I am a tuning fork for God. What does that feel like? How would I like to express that?" That it'll become easier and easier for living well today? Much love. Bye for now. Wishing you all the best, Angela AM

Discovery is not always about seeking new horizons. It's about seeing with new eyes.
Hi and Welcome! Welcome to my backyard. We were doing some filming today, including some storytelling around some really wonderful tools that we use for well-being. You may know that I use certain mindfulness tools in the workplace and resources in the workplace. Well, there are also tools and resources for your mind, body, and your mind, wellness, mindfulness at home and with your family. That's what we were going through today. So it inspired me to take a moment and share a story. And you may have heard at one point there's a saying that to see with fresh eyes, to see, with new eyes, you know, can you challenge yourself to not necessarily always seek a new horizon, but to see with fresh eyes, new eyes. And through that process you can change your life. You can shift your life upward to a more peaceful place, an easier place, a more joyous place. There Are Going To Be Storms In the human experience, whether at work or at home, regardless of the relationship, there are going to be storms. In fact, one's headed our way right now, I think it's coming across the state of Florida from the Gulf Coast. There are going to be storms. I have a tidal creek that runs all the way around the property. So preparation is key. And you know I'm confident. I trust that I can weather the storm. I trust I can weather any storm, and that always, all things are always working out. So regardless of where you're at, at work or home, that trust and seeing with fresh eyes can bring you a whole new perspective in shifting into a better place of resourcefulness, empowerment, ease, intention. This includes the way you present yourself to your employees or your colleagues; whether it's a speech at a gala, it doesn't really matter. In order to be in that place of new eyes, seeing where you stand in the center of the universe is really powerful. And so I encourage you to think about taking a look at things anew, with a new perspective. Seeing With New Eyes How do you do that? How do you look at things with a new perspective? Well, you get in a place of quietness. You get in a place of something that brings you beauty, that creates beauty in your life. In this case, my backyard is my sanctuary. But nature and being at one with nature, being immersed in it, being a part of it, running water, the breezes sound of the ocean, anywhere there's stillness will do. Stepping into nature's a powerful, gentle, yet, impactful action. The gift from nature can bring you into the place of that newness, of refreshment, refreshed, renewed eyes, and looking for the gifts. And this is a pattern I repeat often, looking for the gifts, looking for the gifts. Looking For The Gifts, Find What You Go Looking For So seeing the beauty, seeing life with an artist's eye, that's what we're doing here. You don't have to be an artist to see life with an artist's eye. What it really means, seeing with an artist's eye, is looking for the beauty, looking for the gift. And you know, you find what you go looking for. Always, always consciously or unconsciously, you find what you go looking for. So find the beauty today. Look with new eyes, with fresh perspective. Get yourself into nature, out of the office, out from behind the computer, out of your car, and into nature. And my promise to you is when you do that, you will feel renewed, which brings you fresh perspective, which allows you to see more beauty in your life, which shifts you UP! and gives you more ease and joy and contentment, uncertainty, trusting in the beauty and the gifts and the miracles around us. Alright, that's it for now Friends, for Living Well today. I wish you all the best. Angela AM I'm sharing a really powerful word with you today, and that word is abide. And there's a tendency to think of, 'Oh, I'm going to abide by the rules', meaning comply. And I guess there's an essence of compliance in the word abide. I frame it a little differently, which I think for me anyway, makes all the difference in the world.
Abiding in, for example, abiding in the circumstances that you're in. Accepting, working with, trusting, giving into, and allowing. There's great power in allowing something, aligning with something, abiding with or abiding in. Abiding in love. The give and take and a relationship where someone doesn't have to lose in order for someone else to gain. But there's a working with, and I think that we're living in a world now where abiding, in allowing, walking with, working with is really vital. It's a vital component to all of our peace. Knowing Your Truth Because when you have a tug of war and you have someone that's right and someone that's wrong according to who, because certainly from that person's perspective, they feel very right. They feel very certain about their belief or their position. But if you can abide in or accept all that is knowing your own true path, abidance or abiding in accepting, living, in living with trusting, it's really a beautiful thing. So that's the word for today. I'm wishing you, I am abiding in your love, abiding in God's love, the Universe's love, and all that is the beauty around me. Abiding in that beauty, aligning and accepting that beauty and the gifts that are in my life. And I'm wishing that for you today as well. All the best for living well... today. Much Love, Angela AM Nature Is The Best Medicine
Welcome to Living Well Today. I'm Angela Moonan, and you're going to be seeing me more and more in nature as I am finding my way, like everyone is, toward my better self. Nature has always played a central role in my life; even since I was a little kid, I remember exploring the hills. You know, it's funny, I visited them not that long ago where I grew up and they seemed like mountains back then, and they're just little re-rolling hills, but they seemed just as special in a different way. Looking back what they gave me, they gave me retreat. They gave me solace. They gave me comfort, support, inspiration, adventure, curiosity. They fostered so many things, all those paths and woods and creeks, wandering creeks, rolling hills... I remember there was this spring, like a natural fed spring. People would come from all over to get their water there because the water was so good. The Well Spring Within Us And, you know, the well spring, we have access to that all the time within ourselves. The wellspring within us. And I've been going through some pretty rough after. There was a lot of cleanup, like places with Hurricane Ian. I am so blessed versus what so many others are tragically going through or have experienced down in southwest Florida. I had a car accident. I've got some health stuff in family, not for me, but with family. So lots of speed bumps lately, and I'm finding that being out in nature is lifting me UP. There was this little bird sitting on her perch this morning. I just watched her and she just hung out forever. It seemed like, I didn't know if maybe she ran into the window or something, she was a little bit stunned but she eventually flew away. I think that's a little bit metaphor for me right now! I've flown into a few windows, and I think the power within us, the wellspring within us, shows us if we can just breathe and come back to center, it shows us that we will spring anew again. A New Day There will be a new day as a friend said to me the other day, A new day. So today is a new day, and I'm encouraging you to step out into nature, to take in her beauty, to remind yourself of the wellspring within. Find that place that was special to you as a child. That was a retreat, a place to heal, to just be with no other distractions and go there, go to that place. And, I think that that's a great lesson for living well right here and now. Today be well, and all the best. XOXO Angela | AM | Preparation is the KEY
Hello! I use quotes, sayings things from much more brilliant people than I could ever dream of being, as guides, as tools, as reminders, as teachers. And there's a really wonderful saying about preparation that "Luck favors the prepared man and woman." And so we are getting ready for Hurricane Ian. And while I've adjusted over the last several years of being more tolerant of it and not panicking quite as much as an upstate New Yorker might do, initially when you start hearing hurricane, I mean they have hurricane parties down here in Florida! So, I have two homes now that I have to prepare for. So preparation is key. So this is what we're going through right now. Everything's covered, everything's pulled out of the lanai or you'll see the ropes tied down. The fur babies are like, 'What's going on mama?' LOL. At the other house, I have a team up there and they're pulling the garden statues, potted plants, furniture, all that stuff up into the sheds. The point of all of this, and some of the responses have been "Oh, it won't be anything. It won't be anything." And it may well not be, but I certainly would prefer to be prepared, put the little extra work in, in advance. So that if luck does play a role, and I believe on some level it always does, it will favor me because I have met it where it needed me to meet it. And that is in good preparation. So, those lessons can be applied to your work, your business, certainly your home and your wallet... all of those things. So being prepared is key, because luck favors us when we are. Sending much luck and blessings your way today for wherever you live in the world, and wherever you're at on the journey for living well... today. All the Best! Angela https://www.AngelaMoonan.com |
