It's a word we all love to do, be a part of, experience...
CELEBRATE! I'm sharing a word for you for this week that, if you incorporate into your everyday narrative, monologue, dialogue, it actually shifts the way that you're seeing, the moment, the way that you're experiencing your day. And it's a word everybody loves to do, to feel, to experience, and that word is CELEBRATE! So, let's celebrate. As you share with a colleague, someone in your family, and you're just talking about any ole thing, doesn't much matter. Just say, "Ooh, let's celebrate that!" Let's find a way to celebrate... Celebration, exaltation, joy in the moment, marking an occasion for a particular reason. And that reason, of course, is to feel happiness and to feel at ease that all is right with the world. That you're communing with those that you care most about. Actually, you can celebrate with a stranger too. Celebrate. Celebrate the moments. Celebrate the art of every moment, and take it in. Really feel it what it feels like to say that word. Let's celebrate. So for living well... today: Celebrate who you are, where you are, just as you are. Much love, AM Angela https://www.AngelaMoonan.com

It's word of the week time? This week the word is so wonderful for all of us to practice and to feel it, to feel what it feels like. And the word is PATIENCE: Trusting, allowing, letting things unfold as they should. Letting them bloom.
Right On Time Forcing something ahead of its time. Often can come at a price, not just in your wellbeing, but also in the full becoming of the situation and the circumstance, or the friendship, or the partnership, the negotiation. Patience in all things. So it requires trust, allowing, having faith that things are happening right on time. At Work and at Home Whether you're in traffic in the grocery line with a colleague at work, a teenager at home, a big deal that's waiting to come through. It can apply universally to all things. And as you open and as you practice more patience in that place of accepting, watch how the world feels easier. Everything feels easier. At first, it may not, because you want to rush it, rush it, rush it, make it happen. But the most beautiful things can bloom from patience. So practice that this week in those moments of rush. Hurry up, get it done. Take a breath, use your breath to step back. Open up and allow... All the best for living well, today. XOXO AM Hello! Faith and trust. They seemingly go hand in hand and they're most tested in times of challenge. The greater the challenge, the greater the trust. So if you're facing anything today in your life, in your work, in the world, that is a gauntlet of sorts, that is the time not to put more muscle into it. Because that just creates more resistance, more knots, if you will. That is the time to go inside and be more still and find ease through your breath. The prana as Falli, a special woman I go to for different therapies, massage, cranial sacral work, She works with prana for healing. Using the breath, the prana to keep the muscles loose, to keep your body loose, to keep things more open, more expansive, so more light and love can ruminate faith and trust.
TRUST YOURSELF Trust yourself. Trust the tools that you've curated, the resources you have within you and all around you. Find those quiet moments. Stay present. Stay in the moment right now because that's where your power is. That's what you can control, and I'm with you. I'm right there with you. God, the universe, the collective consciousness has your back. Trust in that... for living well, today. What does it mean when certain people show up in your life? When you've got an adversarial situation with another person, in your personal life or at work, where things are a little 'sticky' with that person. They're not going to smoothly - there's anxiety, frustation, etc. The intial reaction often is finger-pointing - that it's that person that's 'doing something' to or against you. When it's time to go inward within yourself. What I offer you is this: A person that comes into your life is either there to show you or affirm something beautiful for you, or, is there to show you a lesson for you - that triggers something in you that's ready to 'come up' to be healed. It's usually wrapped in some kind of story from the past that has to do with victimhood, a belief that somewhere at some time you were wronged, there was an injustice. Likely it was a story you created to help you survive something. I encourage you if and when that comes up - to look for the gift. To choose thrive over survive. So this particular person, what is it that they're showing you? If you're frustrated, scared, anxious, angry, there's a wound there... it may be a similar pattern/story and you wonder why does this keep happening? Well, maybe all of those other times you were getting smarter, stronger, more effective in learning how to heal it - and now this is the time to do exactly that! Go inside - as it's all an inside job. And as you do, and as you actively choose to tell a NEW story, a more empowering story now that you're an adult and living well... today... watch how the knot with that person unties, unravels, and gets easier or maybe even goes away altogether. For Living Well... Today! Angela AM https://www.AngelaMoonan.com Hello, I'm Angela, and it's time for Word of the Week. Many of us have been living this word in many variations in particular over the last three plus years now, and in uncertain times, we have to find our courage. Steve Jobs once said, he looked back to dot his "i's" to get his confidence. And confidence can't come without courage. Courage has to come first.
So, the word of the week is courage. "I am courageous. I am brave. I am resourceful. I am resilient. I am strong. I am courageous. I am filled up with courage. I have the courage to take the next step. I have the courage to step up, step out in my life, to strengthen my own voice, to be my own person and my own best advocate." Courage. So you won't always have the ability to use hindsight when you're present living. When you're mindful living, what you want to do is look back first so that you can reinforce that courage to be able to look forward and have trust and faith that yes, I've got this. And eventually you won't need to look back at all, that courage will come just by looking straight ahead. It's Not About the Outcome I've done this before many, many times over before I have done this. So often when we're faced with circumstances, it's not so much about the outcome of what we do in that conversation or negotiation, presentation. It is more in the exercising of it, in the exercising of our courage muscle. Try saying the word to yourself. Look back, dot your own "i's" this week. Take a look at those moments of courage that you yourself have had, and use that for stepping forward, fuller, bigger, better, stronger, more, even more confident, and get there faster- easier, even more importantly, for living well... today. |
